Additional Information:
Janiece’s newsletter – eBay Profit Pill Newsletter - includes 9 tips for establishing a successful eBay business. That’s a realistic promise.
The product Janeice Smith is selling is an ebook, entitled “How an Overworked, Traveling, Soggy Sandwich Eating Dental Hygienist Made $11,212 a Month Online”
At least one month, Janiece made $11,212.00 on eBay (presumably using the techniques described in her ebook). We have no reason to doubt this claim (though we do wonder if that was $11,212.00 in sales (not including expenses) or $11,212.00 in profit).
According to Janiece, this ebook will tell you:
-
How to get started with next to no up front costs
-
How to gain access to over 86 million buyers without leaving the comfort of your own home (well, doesn’t having an eBay account alone do that?)
-
How to receive payment before shipping out the item sold (we’ll advise you of this right now – for free – with any auction you list)
-
How to earn profits without even being at your computer
-
How to set your own hours and still make the money you desire
-
How to do all this without ever having to deal with a customer or supplier face to face
So far, all of these are standard eBay lessons that anyone can learn by combining the free eBay Help section with a little bit of common sense. Fortunately, Janiece goes on to outline some other not-so-freely-available lessons that make her ebook a bit more appealing to us, such as:
-
How to make thousands a month in sales (not profits?) with minimal effort
-
How to get better deals on the products you’re already selling (wholesaler guides?)
-
How to find even more products at below wholesale to sell (our ears perk up)
-
9 ways to ensure that every customer remains a customer for life (definitely useful information)
-
How to work less and earn more (well, we can never learn too much about that)
The ebook also details:
-
How Janiece made over $2,100 in less than a month from one company alone
-
How to be assured of turning a profit without ever having to personally examine the products you’re selling
-
5 ways Janiece gets companies to push their products on her to sell
-
How to find the greatest profit-turning products
-
A proven system for putting your business on autopilot
-
3 ways to find out about a company you’re considering doing business with
-
And how to employ Janiece’s services as a private coach
The system described in her books:
-
is not an MLM or network marketing program
-
is not a vending machine business
-
does not involve selling Avon or Tupperware or any other “sell-at-a-party-style” products
-
is not a scheme where she teaches you how to teach others how to teach others how to teach others how to teach others…to get rich
If successful, you will be able to work part time and have income rolling in whether you’re sitting at your computer or not. It really is a great opportunity for moms or dads that wish to spend more time at home with their kids. But it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme. It is a job. And you will have to be self-motivated and disciplined and persistent if you are to truly make this work for you. Even Janiece admits to typically spending about 5 hours a day at work on her eBay job.
If, understanding all this, you still think an eBay-based at-home business might be for you – we believe you might be right.
What struck us as odd, however, is that Janiece details how she had to borrow $4,105 from friends and family, max out her credit cards for another 2 grand, and empty out her savings of $795 just to get started before she was able to get where she is today. And NOWHERE does she say – “but it turned out, I didn’t have to spend all that money and neither do you, and here’s why?”
We’re left wondering if her success hinged on this huge initial investment and whether we can expect the same sort of results with the low startup cost system she’s promising to teach us. Did she spend all that money so we don’t have to – and if that’s the case, why the heck doesn’t she say so?
Janiece’s ebook - How an Overworked, Traveling, Soggy Sandwich Eating Dental Hygienist Made $11,212 a Month Online – costs $39.95 and comes with a 1 month 100% money-back guarantee.
Honestly, based on the claims alone, this product seems to be much more of a primer for relative newbies to the whole eBay selling experience. Useful, for sure – for some. Janiece’s enthusiasm is contagious, and her ebook is clearly written in an empowering, motivational style that will doubtlessly pump any reader up to go out and get him or herself a share of the profits to be garnered.
eBay veterans, however, might better prefer some of the other ebooks reviewed in this section of our website.
