Unlike much of the search engine monitoring software out there that produces summary reports only, ClickDetective’s reports detail each individual click.. Moreover, these reports are generated in real-time rather than hours after the event occurred.

Examples of actions ClickDetective facilitates once suspicious activity is detected include temporarily suspending your PPC campaign, notifying the search engine, and reporting the behavior to the user’s ISP.

But one of the most powerful tools at your disposal with ClickDetective is the option to send out 3-levels of automated Alerts to repeat visitors inviting them to Bookmark your site for easier reference and alerting those with less innocent intentions that your site is indeed monitored for click fraud.

• Level 1 is a customizable message that appears after a user-specified number of repeat visits is triggered (default is 3 repeat visits). The default message states “Thank you for revisiting our site. This page can be Bookmarked by pressing Ctrl-D thank you.”

• Level 2 alerts further repeat visitors (via your ad) that the link is being monitored and is subject to access restrictions

• Level 3 presents a message that says “Access Denied from this Location” and denies via the link, but encourages and enables the user to cut and paste the URL directly into their browser.

Setting up ClickDetective to protect your campaign from fraud is a simple 3 step process:

• Once you become a member, all you have to do is log on and register the landing page of your ad.

• Then you copy a single line of ClickDetective code into the body of your landing page. This is easy to do – if you have an IT person on hand, she can do it in her sleep – and you only need do it once per ad/landing page.

• Lastly, log in to your relevant PPC search engine account(s) and add an extremely short bit of text to the end of your ad’s destination URL.

ClickDetective’s two basic level packages are:

CD Standard: $49/mo. for 2,000 monitored click-throughs

CD Corporate: $79/mo. for 10,000 monitored click-throughs

ClickDetective also accepts euros and pounds. Where applicable, prices do not include tax.

TopUps for either of these packages cost $10 for each additional 2,000 click-throughs. ClickDetective does rollover unused TopUp click-throughs.

There is, however, the additional option of a customized plan for high-volume users, called CD Enterprise, which is available upon request.
