Additional Information:
List Management
EmailLabs uses an automated programming interface (API) to capture internal customer/subscriber records in real-time and at user-specified intervals. List upload control prevents annoying creation of duplicate entries for the same individuals, even if some of their contact info may have changed. You can indicate whether to have new information for an existing record Replace or Append it.
EmailLabs comes with a whole bunch of activity-based, event-based, and profile-based segmentation filters that can be used for targeting, reporting, and message creation purposes. You can even create your own filters based on user-specified criteria
Bounced emails are resent at set intervals for 1 full week, at which point they are placed in your Bounce List. From there, they are resent at user-specified intervals. Each time a delivery in unsuccessful thereafter, the email is returned to the bounce list.
Email Labs will also handle all your replies for you, based of course on rules that you set. This includes unsubscribe requests.

automatic unsubscribe confirmation

Message Creation & Management
Build your HTML messages directly into the system from scratch, or use one of the built-in templates (or one of your own) or use an existing web page as your message or upload an existing HTML or XML file, including those composed in external third party software.
EmailLabs’ Workflow Task Management System empowers you to set up a fool-proof system for the creation, delivery, and management of all your campaigns – for example, setting certain tasks as “Required” and prohibiting any emails from being sent that don’t have this task handled. Use this System for setting reminders, for sending time-sensitive notes to other users, and for integrating/complying with a company’s existing processes and procedures.
All emails are sent out in multiple parts which include HTML, text, AOL versions, etc. So whichever program your recipients are using, they can open and read your messages.
A Content Library (complete with a Directory System) allows you to organize the creative elements you plan to use and reuse in your campaigns – graphics, snippets of copy, attachments, and templates.
EmailLabs includes a ruthless Spam Checker for making sure (before you distribute your messages) that they won’t be undeservingly caught up in a spam filter (whether at the ISP, corporate, or recipient level) and consequently killed. It checks the same factors that the Microsoft Outlook default Junk filter and the filters of all the major ISPs..
A Proof List lets you send out test messages to select contacts on your list before initiating a general distribution.
And for research and optimization purposes, you can send out A/B split messages and institute random group testing. EmailLabs’ Distribution Groups gives you a number of ways to send messages that are partially or completely different from one another so you can analyze the results and learn exactly what works and what doesn’t.
Segmentation & Personalization
The EmailLabs database includes fully configurable custom fields for collecting whatever additional data on your contacts that you’d like. This feature can also be used to help you integrate offline data, pull data into individual records, conduct surveys, import customer transaction info and much more.
Personalize your campaigns by inserting email merge tags pulled directly from your subscriber database into the subject line and/or body of your messages.
You can create dynamic email templates that be used over and over to send relevant, personalized messages to different targeted groups or segments.
You can set EmailLabs to send off automatic emails triggered by various subscriber actions – clicking on a link, following up X number of days after subscribing/purchasing, time-based/special occasion-based promotions (anniversaries, birthdays, etc.) and more.
And you can create customizable and personalized footers at the bottom of each of your messages, including:
-
permission reminders (“You are receiving this email because you requested…”)
-
unsubscribe/change user settings links or info
-
information required by the CAN-SPAM Act
-
sender and recipients contact info
