Additional Information:

First, we’ll outline the basics of ClickTracks’ remarkable campaign management software, taking you through the various screens available to you. Then we’ll break down the various ClickTracks packages you can choose from to get the most appropriate and economic degree of services and features for your needs.

Navigation Report: Shows your webpage exactly as it appears on your browser except with statistical data overlaid showing exactly how many visitors clicked on each link.

Page Analysis data in a column alongside this display tells you such useful details as:

  • the number of site visitors that see a particular page

  • the average time a visitor spends on that page

  • the average amount of time it took a visitor to navigate to this page once on the site

  • the number of visitors that entered the site via this page

  • the number of exits from the site from this page

  • the top search keywords that brought all that traffic here

A portion of the screen called the Path View shows in one column where the visitors came from (which search engine or shopping portal, advertiser, linked affiliate etc or from other pages on your own site). In another column, the Page View shows where your visitors clicked to when they left this page (whether they went to another page in your site or back to the search engine, or to another site entirely).

The Navigation Report will even show you various versions of your site side by side so you can compare results after redesigning web pages.

Label Wizard:  Allows you to segment your results into various categories and then compare the visitors that fit into each of those categories to better hone your target marketing. Compare your visitors based on:

  • what pages they reached (ie the patterns of those that made it through checkout)

  • the search engines or referrals that brought them here

  • the traffic that came from paid search versus traditional search

  • new versus returning visitors

  • traffic that was search targeted versus traffic that was content targeted

  • the length of time spent on a page or your overall site

  • and more!  The Advanced Labeling features comes with more than twice as many customizable parameters you can set for thorough analysis such as – has a certain cookie set, is from a certain country, used a certain search query, visited at a specific time of day or day of week (or both).

Set as many parameters as you want in order to completely evaluate the effectiveness of not only your marketing campaign but your actual website as well.

Configuration Client: ClickTrack’s keyword analysis tool keeps you up to speed with how each keyword you’re using is performing, broken down into such useful stats as the number of visitors each search engine brought you for any given keyword, how much time those visitors spent on your site,

Using ClickTracks Pro or BidHero Bid Management (see below) you can even peruse actual revenue data for each keyword.

Robot Report:Indicates how often (and how recently) a search engine’s spiders or robots indexed each of your pages. This’ll help you inordinately in determining where best to concentrate your search engine submission efforts.

Funnel Report: Helps you track the paths visitors take through your site and the effectiveness of those pathways in reaching your ultimate conversion goal (ie a purchase). By setting variables for ClickTrack to use in combining your web pages into logical groups, you can learn how convincing each of your pages is in getting your visitor to your goal page.

Site Overview:Summarizes various data compiled by ClickTracks’ other tools and features for any period of time you indicate and displays it in one easy-to-read page for your quick perusal.

The Site Overview will tell you, among other things: revenue per visitor, average time spent on the site, page views per visitor, and top search keywords that drove traffic to your site – all divided into both visitors to the site and those select visitors that made it through checkout.

If you’ve set any labels, you can also see here how they affect these statistics.

What’s Changed Report: Is another overview of your campaign, but this one is broken down into the effect of any significant changes you’ve made to the campaign in the time period indicated. Note changes in number of visitors, referrers, campaigns, entry pages, visited pages, and country of origin – all divided into both traffic to the site itself and traffic that completed the checkout process.

Campaign Report: A ClickTracks feature available only to BidHero subscribers (see below), or users importing campaign data directly from Google or Yahoo!, the Campaign Report is a table providing you a wealth of statistical data to further monitor, track, and sort through your campaigns successes and shortcomings.

As all sites are not built alike – in fact it may be said they’re more like snowflakes that anything else – ClickTracks offers a variety of ways ebusiness-folk can employ their services without paying for more than is needed.
